Railway Recruitment Board will be conducting its Common Written Examination for the Non Technical Popular Category(NTPC) for recruiting around 2.5 Lacs Candidates to various posts in Non technical Category. The Notification for the Examination will be released by the end of September 2017 and the first stage of examination will be held in November 2017.This is considered as the greatest ever recruitment in the government sector for more than 2.5 lacs vacancies, its a great opportunity for all those candidates who are desiring to serve in indian railway.

Vacancy:
The expected vacancy is 2.5 Lacs out of which around 1.5 lacs vacancies will be filled through November 2017 exams, whereas the remaining vacant positions will be filled by March 2017.

Out of 2.5 lacs vacancies around 80,000 vacancies is to be filled in the department of Security and maintenance.
Eligibility:
The candidate should be graduate in any field from a recognised university, however for all those candidates who are in their final year of graduation are not eligible. So,please check the eligibilty criteria for the same.
Age Limit: 18Yrs - 32Yrs (Age relaxation is provided to backward class candidates OBC.Ex-servicemen : 3 Yrs & SC/ST : 5 Yrs).

How to Apply:
RRB will release the application form at the end of September, Candidates have to register themself on the official website of RRB (www.indianrailway.gov.in). Candidates have to Click on "new Registration" and register, there on candidates have to fill the application form and submit.
Application Fees:
Detail about the registration fees will be available once notification is out. However, it is expected that the registration fee will be around 100 Rs for the Open and OBC Category students where as, for the SC/ST there will be no fees.
